Funding trainers is a strategic new development in line with the Trust’s core vision. Trainers are individuals particularly gifted in the discipleship and teaching necessary to raise up church leaders.
The Trust wants to support the cost of people employed by churches who have this kind of focused training role. This could also involve grants to support trainers in other roles, e.g. working with a training provider like a Bible college.
This is likely to involve grants of up to £20,000 per annum with a 3-year commitment (£60,000).
Over the next decade this will have a significant strategic impact on training gospel workers in Scotland.
