The vision of the Bonar Trust is to train the next generation of leaders for the church in Scotland.
The trustees welcome applications from individuals on an Apprenticeship Programme or Church Leader in Training Programmes in a church in Scotland.
The Bonar Trust has recently updated all its publicity. As Trustees we hope this will give you greater clarity about the vision of the Trust. You can read more about our vision here. We are also excited to launch Profiles booklet which introduces some of the individuals we have supported and the leadership positions they have…

During her training she completed Cornhill Scotland and was primarily involved in the 20-30’s ministry and youth work. Rachel is currently the Women’s Ministry Coordinator at Charlotte Chapel, Edinburgh. In this role she organises various bible studies, plans outreach events and participates in a number of 1-2-1’s.
Over the past few years the Bonar Trust have supported Graeme as he undertook a 2 year apprenticeship at Bruntsfield Evangelical Church in Edinburgh alongside studying at the Cornhill Training Course in Glasgow. He accept the position of Assistant Pastor at the church starting in August 2014. This role will combine hands-on ministry with studying for a theology degree at Edinburgh Theological Seminary.
Graeme says, “I am ever grateful for the work of the Bonar Trust which is allowing me and many of my peers to gain a first class theological training which will equip us, Lord willing, for a lifetime of gospel ministry.”
