Summer Update from the Trust

We have much to report and to give thanks for as we look back this summer, including:

 Grant making

We had a record number of grant applicants for the 2025/26 year (80) and though we have less money in total to give out this year, we're very thankful for the ability to support every applicant who met the Trust's grant-making principles. In that number are individuals in churches that are training for the first time, which is heartening. It's also great to see a real spread of denominational affiliations right across Scotland geographically. Please join us in praying for these men and women as they begin and continue in their training; that they would grow in their character, convictions and competency in the Lord.

 Annual Dinner

In May we welcomed 80 guests to Chalmers Church for a really encouraging evening.  We were able to interview a pair of current grantees, and then had a good time hearing from Robin and giving thanks for the work God has done in and through his labours in the Trust. Please join us in prayer for him and the Proclamation Trust as a whole in their labours across the UK. We closed with a  Director's Address where I sought to emphasise that the work of the Trust will continue under God to be rooted in three things: Jesus' perspective that the fields are white for harvest; Jesus' prayer that workers would be raised up and sent out into the harvest field; and Jesus' promise that he is building his church. Please pray for our focus as a Trust for years to come, and for ongoing and new partnerships here in Scotland in this work.

 Residentials

We hosted four preaching Residentials in Pitlochry at the Atholl Centre in June; we are really thankful for their hospitality and service in this way, and are sad that we have to move venue due to their closure. We're thrilled that over that fortnight, 37 Leaders-in-Training, ministers, and women’s workers together were trained in the context of partnership and fellowship to preach the Word (some pictured above). Adding in the leaders from across Scotland and England, drawn from churches and training providers, 50 people gathered in a heartening snapshot of what the Trust is seeking to do here in Scotland. Please join us in praying for fruitful ministries, faithful partnership and future leaders down the generations to arise from these times together.

 Giving through Charities Aid Foundation

I'm pleased to let you know that it is now possible to give to the work of the Trust through the Charities Aid Foundation if you would like to do so. We are so grateful for every single person who is able to give; please follow this link to our giving page to see the option for CAF at the bottom amongst others.
